Overview
HUBER & RANNER supplied units for the construction of an offshore oil drilling platform by CSSC. The platform contains processing facilities as well as personnel accommodation areas. Since the drilling platform is often in a floating state, when encountering wind, waves and tides at sea, it will inevitably tilt, sway, translate and rise and fall, which in turns places a high demand on the stability of the vessel’s air handling equipment.
Our Solution
HUBER & RANNER provided three high-stability air handling units for the oil platform, equipped with direct expansion coils. All internal components can be side-drawn for maintenance, stainless steel tubular electric heating, internal filter frame, coil frame, etc. are all made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel; the coils use corrosion-resistant and high-efficiency copper tubes and copper fins. High-stability fans and motors are equipped with special marine-type shock absorber mounts to ensure reliable operation of the units under all conditions.
