Overview
Founded in 1917, Epsom Girls' Grammar School is one of New Zealand's leading and largest girls' schools, producing many of New Zealand's leaders in many fields.
This project involved the replacement of the existing air conditioning system for the swimming pool at Epsom Girls Grammar School.
Our Solution
Fresh air supply is necessary for the pool to maintain a healthy indoor air environment for occupants. The same airflow is exhausted to balance the indoor air pressure and maintain good air quality. The exhaust air has a high temperature and energy can be recovered from it to save energy. HUBER & RANNER provided the entire system including supply air AHU, exhaust air AHU and KVS run-around coil energy recovery system including integrated control system to ensure efficient operation of the system.
Design Points
High-efficiency EC fans |
Narrow unit design, reducing width and increasing height, matching site installation space requirements |
Exhaust fan inner wall plate made of stainless steel, coil epoxy coating design, meeting anti-corrosion requirements due to the corrosive nature of exhaust air from swimming pool environments |
100% fresh air design |
KVS run-around coil energy recovery, achieving efficient recovery of exhaust energy |
