The HYGIENIC Y-CASE Air Handling Unit series is a specialized option of HUBER & RANNER's flagship Y-CASE series with additional enhanced hygienic performance. Engineered to meet the most stringent cleanliness and air quality standards, it is Eurovent-certified to the highest 3-star hygienic rating under the programme. The advanced hygienic design guarantees safe, contaminant-free air for sensitive environments such as hospitals, cleanrooms, food processing, laboratories and similar critical environments.
Introduction
HYGIENIC Y-CASE AHUs represent the highest standard of air handling for environments demanding exceptional hygiene. Building on the proven reliability and modularity of the Y-CASE series, this enhanced hygiene variant achieves Eurovent’s highest 3-star Hygienic AHU certification, ensuring compliance with the most rigorous clean air and equipment design requirements. Its design is tailored for applications where air purity and equipment cleanliness are critical, including hospital operating theatres, food production facilities, pharmaceutical manufacturing and high-grade laboratories.
To meet these stringent demands, HYGIENIC Y-CASE units incorporate advanced materials and design considerations. Furthermore, they are engineered for easy cleaning and maintenance, featuring generous access points in compliance with the requirements of the IOM space requirements of Eurovent’s HAHU standard. The units are fully compliant with DIN 1946-4 and VDI 6022-1 standards, which are integrated and exceeded within the Eurovent HAHU certification rules.

Pre-Delivery Cleaning and Packaging
All units are thoroughly cleaned after manufacturing and properly packaged for transport and storage, ensuring zero contamination before installation.
