Overview
The New Zealand government’s Ministry of Primary Industry’s (MPI) Interim Post-Entry Quarantine (IPEQ) facility is located in Auckland. The new IPEQ facility consists of offices, laboratory space and a mezzanine headquarters plant room, connected to 12 greenhouse pods by an enclosed corridor. The laboratory space and greenhouse pods are designed and constructed to meet MPI's PEQ L3B containment cabin standards.
Our Solution
The 12 greenhouse pods, buffer rooms, control room headquarters and other areas of the project all required independent air supply and zone regulation to meet the laboratory and greenhouse pod room fresh air and temperature control requirements. HUBER & RANNER provided our high-performance Y-50 Y-CASE AHU’s to the project.
The pod AHU’s do not occupy the greenhouse space and are installed in the outdoor area, requiring supply of outdoor-type units to ensure long-term weather protection.
